Honor Magic V3 Intro
Call it the Honor Magic V3. The most compact foldable ever made. It is comparatively thinner as compared to iPad Air or any mobile devices till now. I am a little ashamed to admit, as much as I was trying to be clever, there was no need for me to do so in this case. Sometimes the harsh truth is just the best way to put things.
The Magic V3 is the newest version of the Chinese foldable and it’s marketing is focused competing with the Galaxy Z Fold 6. A couple of days prior to the official launch of the V3, Honor dished out a very bold and aggressive PR campaign, showing a tiny engraved message, engraved on the Honor V3’s hinge. This has been savagely worded as an “apology” to all galaxy Z owners, while taking a shoot at Samsung.
To put it succinctly, it says, ‘Sorry to break your heart, but perhaps our phone is better in this regard.’”
I imagined it was a long time over the day when the various companies were engaged in the trolling of each other, but this bolder step demonstrates the level of confidence that Honor has in its product. And it is wonderful. The device is incredibly light, yet has a large capacity battery; flagship SoC power; a powerful camera system; and astonishingly quick charging. But is it awesome ‘for a foldable’ or just plain awesome? We’re going to find out!
